Tim’s story
I was born in Tampa and grew up in a small country town called Brooksville, about an hour north of Ybor.  I have been married to my college sweetheart (Lisa) for over 30 years and we have 2 adults children (Braxton and Haley).  It has been amazing to be a part of Relevant from the very beginning. In 2015, after 21 years in banking/financial services with HSBC (Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation), God gave me the opportunity to join the staff and begin serving in full-time ministry.  I love what I do and am thankful to be used by God in a small way to make a difference for His Kingdom in Ybor City and beyond.  Nothing compares to having a front-row seat to watch God transform lives in only a way that He can.
What can we find you doing on your days off?
On my days off I love to hang out with my wife/best friend.  We love enjoying the beach together, although she prefers I play golf without her.  🙂  Before my 2 ACL surgeries, I used to enjoy hooping it up pretty frequently.  Now, I am reluctantly satisfied with just shooting some baskets or playing a game of horse.
What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
Growing up, some of my summer jobs included picking tomatoes, picking watermelons, working in a chicken farm, and working at a funeral home.

What’s something that when you think about it it makes you go “hmmmmmm”
Things that make you say hmmmmmmmmmmm……..I’ve never been a big hockey fan, but I definitely enjoy pulling for the Lightning.  I’ve always wondered why hockey teams don’t hire sumo wrestlers to serve as goalies.
