For 9 years Christmas Is Near has been the Premier Christmas Event for the whole Family. The best part is this event is FREE.

5-7:15 pm: Kid/Youth Zones and Photo Opportunities
5-7:30 pm: Pre-Show on the Main Stage with Kenzie Wheeler and Rekindled Bluegrass
7:30 pm: Christmas Concert and Candlelight Service

Kids and Youth Zone

From 5:00-7:15 pm we will have train rides, carnival games, inflatables, gaming truck, and a Christmas maze over in our Kids and Youth Zone.

Photo Opportunities

From 5:00-7:15 pm we will have Photo Opportunities with Santa set up underneath the Wish Farms Stadium Stands.

Main Stage Events

The Main Stage Pre-Show will be from 5:00-7:15 pm.
5:00 pm- Welcome and Kick off
5:30 pm- Rekindled Bluegrass
6:30 pm- Kenzie Wheeler
7:30 pm- Relevant Church Band and Candlelight Service Led by Pastor Paul Wirth

Rekindled has quickly become a staple in the Bluegrass community in a little over 9 years together! Their drive and timing are like a well-oiled machine and their blend of voices will bring you to tears of joy as they deliver the message of life in a song! They are the host band for the monthly “Fourth  Friday Bluegrass Night” at the Krazy Kup Coffee Shop in Plant City, Florida.

Kenzie was a Finalist on Season 20 of the Voice and is an old soul with classic charm that takes us back to the golden era of country music. He released his first album Dover in 2018, named after his hometown of Dover, Florida.

Relevant Church Band
Relevant Church Band

Relevant Worship is a contemporary worship band based out of Ybor city. The band is composed of local talent and is lead by Plant City native Edgar DeJesus. Their sole focus is bringing glory to God through various genres of music, from gospel to rock there’s a little something for everyone.

Will there be a Bag check?

Yes. There will be a bag check area right when you walk in.

Will there be Handicap Parking?

Yes. Upon entering off Oak St. and Reynolds Ave, you will see signs & parking volunteers directing you to Handicap.

Can I bring my Dog?

No, only service dogs are allowed at this event.

I received a $5 Food Voucher, how do I use it?

Upon entry head to one of our Information Booths to exchange your $5 Voucher for a Coupon that you will hand to any Food Truck which is good (1 per Family please).

Is there a cost?

There is no cost to attend Christmas Is Near. The only cost to you is if you order Food from one of our Food Trucks.

Can I bring a Lawn Chair?

Yes! There will be ground seating on the lawn, it will fill up fast so plan to be there early if you want ground seating.

Donate to Christmas is Near

Christmas is Near isn’t just a concert or a service, but also a great opportunity to start a new tradition and make some great memories. This event is made possible by funds raised through the Christmas is Near Golf tournament. In addition, over half of the proceeds go toward building bunk beds here in our local community and globally in the Dominican Republic. Finally our goal is to bless over 100 families in the Tampa Bay area with a $400 Christmas shopping spree.
