Lead Pastor

Before launching Relevant, Paul served in student ministry for 15 yrs. Paul has a BA from Trinity College, and a MA in Christian Apologetics from Liberty University. He has been married to Susie since 1990. He co-authored his first book, “The 30 Day Sex Challenge” with Susie in 2008. Paul and Susie have two children Ashlyn and Anthony.

Susie Wirth

Susie is a retired educator who is absolutely on fire to help people connect and grow in their faith! She passionately believes that one of the best ways to grow is by finding a place to serve. For the past 20 incredible years, Susie has been serving alongside her husband, Pastor Paul, since they launched their church. She’s also a talented author with two amazing books under her belt and is currently working on her thrilling third book!

I was born in Tampa and grew up in a small country town called Brooksville, about an hour north of Ybor. I have been married to my college sweetheart (Lisa) for over 30 years and we have 2 adult children (Braxton and Haley). It has been amazing to be a part of Relevant from the very beginning. In 2015, after 21 years in banking/financial services with HSBC (Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation), God gave me the opportunity to join the staff and begin serving in full-time ministry. I love what I do and am thankful to be used by God in a small way to make a difference for His Kingdom in Ybor City and beyond.

Aaron grew up in the Philippines as the child of missionaries. Aaron left his position in the medical world to pursue his dream job and calling at Relevant. He has been married since 2005 to Rachel, and has a daughter named Morrissey that they adopted in September of 2011.

Director of Student Ministry

anthony Wirth

Anthony serves as the Youth Director at Relevant Church, leading middle and high school students as they grow in their faith, build authentic friendships, and discover their God-given purpose. With a passion for the next generation, Anthony is committed to creating an environment where students can encounter Jesus, ask honest questions, and develop a faith that lasts beyond their teenage years.

Whether connecting with students one-on-one, teaching from God's Word, or cheering them on through life's milestones, Anthony loves investing in young people and helping them become fully devoted followers of Jesus. His heart is to see students know Jesus personally, live boldly for their faith, and make a lasting impact in their schools, families, and communities.

Erik Swart

Worship Arts Pastor

Erik and his wife, Ally moved to the Tampa Bay area from Knoxville in January, and joined our staff as creative arts pastor in April. They enjoy all things The Office, pickleball, and music, and love trying new food and coffee spots. Erik is passionate about seeing people develop their gifts and helping the Church engage with Jesus through praise and worship and is excited to be a part of the Relevant Church team!

Young Adults Ministry Director

Hannah Walsh

Hannah serves as the Young Adult Director where she has a passion for helping young adults grow in their relationship with Jesus and build authentic community. She believes this season of life is one of the most important and formative for developing faith, finding purpose, and pursuing calling. Hannah loves creating spaces where young adults can pursue God together, deepen their faith, and find Christ-centered community.

Social Media Director

Katie Bock

Katie is the Social Media Director here at Relevant. She grew up in Tampa with her 3 siblings; Kyra, Kyleigh and Kameron. She graduated from USF with a degree in Digital Communications and Multimedia Journalism and now works as the Brand Manager for Keel Farms, a local farm, restaurant and winery.

Media & Production Director

Mike Luu

Michael “Mike” Luu was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. After studying business, he moved to Orlando to attend Full Sail University, where he graduated in Show Production and Touring. Over the years, Mike has been grateful to work in touring, theatre production, and news studios, experiences that helped shape his heart for serving churches through media and production. He has had the privilege of serving at Church in the Son, Real Life Church, and Bell Shoals Church, and now serves as Media and Production Director at Relevant Church. Outside of church, Mike enjoys pickleball, fishing, community events, and running a small production company in Tampa.
