Sammi’s Story
“My name is Sammi and I’ve been on staff with Relevant for 2 years! I’m married to my middle-school sweetheart and we have a baby girl named Lily Grace. I found Relevant when I was looking for a new church home during the pandemic and Relevant was one of the only church’s open in all of Tampa. My husband & I immediately went to visit, and felt like we truly found our home after the first visit. Everyone was so welcoming, and loving, and we knew it was the real deal. I reached out to Pastor Paul and Tim to see if there was an open staff position and they hired me on as the Communications Director. After having my daughter they were willing to let me go remote so I could stay home with her but still stay on staff and now my role is the Social Media Manager for Relevant which fuels my passions so much.”
What can we find you doing on your days off?
Doing fun activities outside with my husband and daughter like going to the beach, bike riding, exploring Tampa!
What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
My husband and I have one of those cheesy middle-school sweetheart stories. We actually met when we were 11 in 6th grade and have been inseparable ever since. We got engaged the day we graduated highschool and were married at 18 years old. We have been married 6 years, and together for over a decade. God has been so good to us!
