Relevant is a casual, contemporary, Christian church meeting in Ybor City, Florida. Our service is designed specifically for college students, urban professionals and young families.
At Relevant, we feel that it’s our responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Relevant.
Where does Relevant meet?
Our facility is located at 1704 N 16th St. Tampa FL. 33605. We are adjacent to the Centro Ybor Parking Garage
What do I Park?
We understand that parking in an urban environment can be a challenge so we have tried to take the guesswork out of it for you. Just park in the Centro Ybor parking garage and we will give you a parking voucher on your way out of the service. Just hand your ticket and voucher to the parking attendant and you will be on your way.
What kind of church is this?
We are a Non-denominational Evangelical Church. We are affiliated with several like-minded ministries such as: Willow Creek Community Church, Saddleback Church, and Granger Community Church.
How should I dress?
What you have on right now is fine with us. Well… unless you just got out the shower…. But seriously – shorts, flip-flops, jeans, it really doesn’t matter to us.
What does Relevant Church have for my kids?
We have a great kids program called Real Kids. If your kids don’t leave begging you to come back, then we haven’t done our job. Our kids program has been set up with your child’s safety in mind. We have a check in process that makes sure you and only you are able to pick up your kids. All of our children’s workers have gone through extensive application and background checks as well.
What does Relevant have for my teenagers?
Our Student Ministry is call Ignition: "lighting wildfires of real love". Currently Ignition is for students 5th-8th grade, however, we are looking to expand to high school as we continue to see this vital ministry expand. Ignition meet during our 10am service every Sunday and also has monthly events throughout the year.
What can I expect from a typical Sunday service?
We will never single you out as a visitor or make you uncomfortable. We think you will enjoy your time with us. You will be warmly welcomed, given something to eat and drink, and encouraged to participate as much as you feel comfortable during our rockin worship service. We will try and encourage you and challenge you with a message and give you opportunity to take your next step in your relationship with God. We will take great care with your kids and give them an experience that they will enjoy as well.
